Privacy

needwatts.com keeps things minimal. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — your appliance selections never leave your device. We use Google Analytics to count visits, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are actually used — aggregate heatmaps and replays of on-page interaction such as scrolling and clicks. Neither ever receives your appliance selections, which stay in your browser. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland Microsoft Clarity does not load at all, and Google Analytics runs with analytics storage denied; in California both run with analytics storage denied, so no analytics cookie is set there; elsewhere they set first-party cookies so a repeat visit is not counted twice. Advertising storage and personalisation are off everywhere, so it is never used to build an advertising profile. Outbound Amazon links carry our affiliate tag (needwatts-20); Amazon's own privacy policy applies on their site. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
